2025 judge - sarah waghorn
British born Australian, Sarah Waghorn, attained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Design before spending ten years in London working as an art director on titles such as Brides, House & Garden and ELLE magazines.
After raising a family in Australia, Sarah wasted no time in getting back into painting. She has been a finalist in the Muswellbrook, Calleen, Waverley, Hawkesbury, Lethbridge Landscape and National Capital Art prizes, and shown in a number of group shows in regional NSW and Melbourne.
Sarah was recently awarded “Highly Commended” for her self-portrait in the Mudgee Arts Precinct (MAP) Portrait Prize. She currently shows her work at Grainger Gallery in Canberra.
